Proceed with your preferred cooking method below.

🔥 Cooking Methods

1️⃣ Oven Roasting (Classic)

Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

Place chicken breast-side up in a roasting pan or cast-iron skillet.

Roast for 60–75 minutes, or until internal temp reaches 165°F (74°C) in the thigh.

Let rest 10–15 minutes before carving.

Great for crispy skin and classic flavor.

2️⃣ Rotisserie (Grill or Electric Spit)

Secure chicken tightly on rotisserie spit.

Truss legs and wings to avoid flopping during rotation.

Cook over indirect medium-high heat (375–400°F / 190–200°C) for 60–75 minutes or until internal temp reaches 165°F (74°C).

Baste occasionally with drippings or extra melted butter.

Produces ultra-juicy meat with even browning all around.

3️⃣ Beer Can Chicken (Grill Method)

Open a half-full beer can and insert it into the chicken’s cavity.

Sit chicken upright on grill over indirect medium heat (~375°F / 190°C).

Close the lid and cook for 60–75 minutes, rotating halfway through if needed.

Use a thermometer to ensure thigh reaches 165°F (74°C).

Steam from the beer keeps meat moist, while grill crisps the skin.
