Rhino Spice Prime Rib Roast – 3 Ways

🧾 Ingredients (Serves 6–10)

1 prime rib roast (4–6 ribs, about 8–10 lbs)

2–3 Tbs Rhino Spice Original or Zesty Original (replaces salt and pepper)

2 Tbs olive oil or softened butter

Optional: 4 cloves garlic, minced

Optional: fresh rosemary or thyme sprigs (tied or inserted in slits)

🔧 Prep Instructions

Bring roast to room temp: Remove from fridge 1–2 hours before cooking. Pat very dry.

Apply seasoning rub: Mix Rhino Spice with olive oil or butter and rub generously over all sides of the roast. Zesty for citrus-herb brightness; Original for savory balance.

Optional flavor boost: Insert garlic and herbs into small slits across the roast.

🔥 Cooking Methods

🔲 Oven Roasting (Classic Method)

Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).

Place roast bone-side down in a roasting pan with a rack.

Roast for 20 minutes, then reduce heat to 325°F (160°C).

Continue roasting until internal temp reaches:

   - 120°F (49°C) for rare

   - 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare
